Lecture Exchange

The Colorado River: The Beginning and the End

The Lecture Exchange marked the beginning and the end of the project. In January 2002, an emissary from the river source, Wyoming, traveled to talk with people in the Delta and in July 2002 an emissary from the Biosphere Reserve in San Luis, Mexico, traveled to talk with people at the source.

From Source to Delta Lecture:

Presentation by A. Dudley Gardner, on “The Source of the Colorado River in Wyoming.” Gardner is Division Chair, Social Science and Fine Arts and Associate Professor at Western Wyoming Community. The talk was followed by guided bus tour of historic Yuma and grand opening of the Moving Waters traveling exhibit at Yuma Crossing State Historic Park. Copy of Lecture
