Cultural Heritage Tourism Grants Funded

Hopi Tribe, Kykotsmovi. Homolovi Podcast Project, $10,000. A podcast for visitor and rental iPods debuting in July 2007 to interpret the ruins from both archaeological and Hopi cultural perspectives. Project Director: Susan Secakuku, 928/737-2510. Tourism Partners: Arizona State Parks, Winslow Chamber of Commerce.

U of A Arizona State Museum, Tucson. Mission Gardens Walking Tour and Interpretive Guide, $10,000. A historic and archaeological walking tour, interpretive guide, and outdoor marker for the San Augustin Mission Garden reconstruction in the Tucson Origins Heritage Park, to open in October 2007.
