Lorraine W. Frank Lecture Fund

The Board of Directors of the Arizona Humanities Council established the Lorraine W. Frank Lecture in 1990, to honor the founding executive director who retired in 1989, to enhance awareness of the humanities through addresses by prominent speakers, and to bring together once a year the friends and supporters of Arizona's humanities community.

The lecture is generally held in October, National Arts and Humanities Month, and moves between Flagstaff, Phoenix and Tucson. Funding is provided by AHC, with occasional outside sponsorship for specific speakers.

Donations in memory of Lorraine W. Frank will be used to support and continue the annual lecture and possibly to establish an endowment for that purpose.
