Prime Time Partnership Grants

AHC is offering Prime Time Partnership Grants in 2011 to new library systems interested in hosting a six-week Prime Time Family Reading Program. Grants of up to $10,000 will be available to cover expenses for hosting three different library branches in a two-year period. Programs may be presented in English or as a bilingual Spanish/English program. Prime Time grants are only available for new sites.

Deadline: April 1, 2011
Amount: Up to $10,000 (to be spent over a two-year period)

Prime Time Mini Grants

AHC is offering mini grants of up to $2,000 available to help support the cost of one six-week Prime Time series within a library system that has previously hosted Prime Time. New sites are not eligible for mini grants.

Deadline: April 1, 2011
Amount: Up to $2,000 (to be spent over a two-year period)

Funding for both Prime Time grants is limited and dependent on the availability of federal funds. Applications are reviewed on a competitive basis and libraries are selected for participation based primarily on geographic distribution of potential sites and the need for the program in the community.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: As of November 1, 2010, all applicants must include their Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number on their application in order to be considered for funding.
The DUNS number is a nine-digit number established and assigned by Dun and Bradstreet, Inc. to uniquely identify business entities. Agencies may search for an existing DUNS number or apply for one on-line at http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform. Assignment of a DUNS number is FREE and usually takes only 1 to 2 business days.
