Activities throughout Humanities Month
BookPALS
In partnership with the Arizona Chapter of Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools (BookPALS) of the Screen Actors Guild Foundation, AHC provided six humanities-based book collections that BookPALS volunteers will read with elementary school students. The book selections are designed to promote the humanities, and refer to questions that prompt discussion of the stories that convey our histories, traditions, social mores, beliefs and insights about what it means to be human.
